Amanda's story..well...what I wrote of it. loveyoumanda @ 6:41:00 PM

Clueless 19 year old Amanda Simpson walked proudly down the college hallways. It had only been a small amount of time that she had been in Seoul, but she was certain that she knew everything about the college grounds already. Quickly darting down the curved staircase, Amanda dashed to her class ignoring her surroundings not wanting to be late.
A set of stairs behind her a nervous, trembling boy popped his head out of the corner. Quickly seeing a simple glance of the girl ahead of her the boy soon smiled his huge smile filling his face. Silently he fell against the marble wall taking in a deep breath. His heart seemed unable to calm down, and his mind seemed to race. He tried to stop smiling as he broke apart from the wall watching the girl slowly fade away.
“Jin Ki, for some reason, you seem off.” The boy told himself as the smile slowly started to fade. Walking down the stairs Jin Ki began to coach himself to not seem like an idiot if the chance ever came up to talk to her. He knew when he woke up this morning that it would be a good day today. In his heart he felt that something amazing would happen today, he just couldn’t figure it out. But when he ended up seeing the new girl walk triumphantly in the hallways again today he finally figured it out. The person he had been waiting to see was finally here.
Jin Ki walked his way to the outdoor area and sat himself on a bench. He sat thinking of his heart instead of his studies, not even worried about missing a class. As if it was destiny the girl came walking towards him.

Amanda let out a depressing sigh. She couldn’t believe she missed her class. She was positive that the room she was on was certainly the room she was supposed to be.
“Room nine.” She spoke softly. “I swear it was nine that I saw.” She hit her head softly remembering that a zero that was placed after the nine would have been the indicator she was in the wrong room. Regretfully Amanda sat herself on a bench mumbling to herself.

Jin Ki watched as the girl sat down next to him. His heart began to race, his smile reappeared and he felt like an idiot once more. He tried his best not to show he was a bit nervous, but how could a girl be so pretty? His hand clenched his chest, his heart was beating faster and faster as each second passed. How could sitting next to a girl feel this good, really good!?
Refocusing his mind he saw she placed a tablet next to him making the distance between them seem a little bit larger than he imagined it. “AMANDA” was neatly written at the top in English, and next to it “SIM DA JEONG” written in Korean.
“Sim. Da. Jeong.” Jin Ki said slowly smiling. These past two weeks he had seen her travel across campus and walk around in Seoul looking with a constant smile on her face. It felt stalkerish smiling like he did when he saw her, but he couldn’t help it. Soon, during the day he found himself running into her on campus. It was an unusual feeling, but he enjoyed it. A warm feeling would flood his body and he’d have an unreasonable smile on his face.
“Huh?” Amanda looked up saying under her breath.
Jin Ki’s eyes widen. What? Had he said that out loud?
“Hi.” Jin Ki said softly bowing his head in her direction.
“Hello!” Amanda smiled keeping her smile hidden. She stuck out her hand out to him and finally smiled. “I’m Amanda. Korean name, Sim Da Jeong.”
Jin Ki reached out holding her hand shaking it. His smile grew bigger. Even if they weren’t really talking, this feeling he felt was something else: something he never felt before, and he prayed she felt the same way.
Amanda coughed slightly taking her hand back and bowing her head slightly. “Nice to meet you…”
“Jin Ki!” He managed to blurt out forcefully. Shaking his head he laughed it off looking up at the bright sun. “But my friends call me Onew.”
“Nice to meet you, Onew.” Amanda smiled laughing under her breath.
For a while the two sat there, not saying anything, just soaking up the bright sunlight. Suddenly Jin Ki found a lump in his throat. Coughing he looked over at Amanda again smiling.
